Tickets for Illinois State Fair grandstand concerts will go on sale on Saturday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.
A discount ticket package, called the Country Concert Blowout, is being offered again this year and includes one track ticket to each of the country performances. Only 500 tickets will be available for this package and the offer ends July 31.
Country Concert Blowout tickets are $114 and include concerts by Jake Owen, Dierks Bentley, Cole Swindell and Little Big Town. The discount ticket package is only available for by phone or in person at the Emmerson Building on the state fairgrounds in Springfield.
Also available for purchase this year will be the StageSide Partyticket. For an additional $30, fairgoers can attend a party that will begin each night 2½ hours before showtime. The ticket includes and all-you-can-eat buffet, beer and wine for purchase, entertainment, early entry into the concert and giveaways, including a chance to win two backstage meet-and-greet passes for that evening’s headlining artist.
Individual ticket prices for each of the shows at the 2016 Illinois State Fair are:
• Aug. 12: Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo and Melissa Etheridge — $20 to $42.
• Aug. 13: Meghan Trainor / Hailee Steinfeld / Common Kings — $28 to $50.
• Aug. 14: Jake Owen / Old Dominion — $15 to $37.
• Aug. 15: New Odyssey — $5.
• Aug. 16: Dierks Bentley / Tucker Beathard — $42 to $64.
• Aug. 17: KISS / The Dead Daisies — $49 to $74.
• Aug. 19: Cole Swindell / Kane Brown / LANco / Jon Langston — $18 to $40.
• Aug. 20: Little Big Town / David Nail — $27 to $49.
• Aug. 21: ZZ Top / Gregg Allman — $34 to $54.
State fair ticket office hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 23-31 at the Illinois State Fair office (Emmerson Building) or by phone at 217-782-1979. Beginning June 1, tickets will be available at the grandstand box office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
