Triopia school district leaders will host an open house Friday to allow people to see renovation done at its schools.
People will be able to walk through the grade school and junior-senior high school buildings from 4 to 6 p.m. and see the work that has been done.
During the summer, the district completed $4.4 million in renovations to the buildings. The heating-air conditioning system was upgraded to include geothermal heating and air conditioning. New roofs were installed on the flat roofing sections of the junior-senior high school and gym and the building also received new ceiling and floor tiles, LED lighting, exterior windows, classroom doors and the exterior fascia and exterior metal doors were painted. Security door locks for each classroom door in both buildings were also upgraded.
