ARRESTS, CITATIONS
• A 13-year-old boy was arrested about 11:37 a.m. Monday at 936 W. Michigan Ave. on a charge of aggravated battery after a complaint that the boy purposely ran into a teacher, causing the teacher to fall down.
BURGLARIES, THEFT
• Between 3:11 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. Monday, two wallets were removed from a residence in the 1000 block of North Diamond Street.
• Between 2 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday, a GPS device was taken from a vehicle parked on Shiloh Drive.
• A GPS device and a Louis Vuitton shoulder bag were taken overnight Monday from a vehicle on Gettysburg Drive. A check was taken from a separate vehicle on the same street.
• Between 10 a.m. Saturday and 7:36 a.m. Monday five downspouts were removed from a residence in the 1200 block of South Main Street.
ACCIDENTS
• A vehicle driven by Melinda S. Pullon, 42, of Jacksonville struck a vehicle driven by Gabriel B. Spencer, 18, from behind around 8:01 a.m. Monday on Prairie Street. Pullon was cited for following too closely.
No injuries were reported.
• A vehicle driven by Brittany N. Latham, 21, of Allerton was struck by a vehicle driven by Jessica L. Yost, 20, of Virginia while Latham was travelling from a private drive around 10:18 a.m. Monday on College Avenue. Latham was issued a citation for failure to yield on a private road or drive.
No injuries were reported.
